Town & Country Lodging

The Old Royal Post is located in a quiet square on the Lesser Town side of the Vltava River. In the neighborhood below Prague Castle, just a short walk from the Charles Bridge, it is close to shops, restaurants and cafes. There are fre locations in this hostoric town that combine the proximity to historic points of interest with a quiet neighborhood as well as this.

The hotel is in a newly reconstructed historic building, which has preserved many of the beautiful characteristics (painted wooden ceilings and parquet floors). Each room is named for a well known Czech (or Austrian) personality. For example, there are rooms named for Charles IV, Antonin Dvorak, T.G. Masaryk, Karel Čapek, Vaclav Havel, Frantisek Josef, Kafka and more. Each squite is tastefully decorated according to their name. Squites are equipped with full kitchen facilities, air conditioning, comfortable beds, plentiful seating and lighting, free wifi access, and are accessible by a lift. Several have private patios and a second toilette.

The reception has meeting area, and helpful staff. There is also an after hours automatic check in kiosk. Breakfasts are included, and are served at the adjoining restaurant on the ground floor. This is a highly professional and welcoming hotel. It is our pleasure to recommend the Old Royal Post, as one of Prague's newest, and most exclusive offers.
