Take a relaxing trip into the countryside outside of Prague, and experience the peaceful unpretentious pace of life outside the capital city. Departing by train at about 9am, we arrive in the village of Srbsko by 10am. The train follows the picturesque Berounka River, through several small towns and villages along the way.

From the train station in Srbsko, we will cross the river and walk on the ancient path, past the Queens Spring, where it is safe to drink the water, to Karlštejn Castle. This is about 6Km on a well marked trail with a suitable incline for children and adults. The walk takes just about 2 hours. In Karlštejn, there are several options for food and refreshment. From Karlštejn Castle, it is about 2 Km walk past several souvenir shops to the train station

By train from Prague to Srbsko, then walk through the forest from Srbsko to Karlštejn at a leisurely pace. Optional tour of Karlštejn Castle (based on consensus of participants). Transportation by train, food, beverage and entry fees are not included.
